Mission Statement

We are a family orientated bicycle club dedicated to spreading the word about social change.  Out Spokin’ Las Vegans Bike Club does a weekly #RidetoProvide.  Our mission is to help the houseless in a manner that is in alignment with our values of conservation and compassion for all sentient beings without a voice.  We work in collaboration with other organizations to assist the homeless, we do several forms of activism, we support local vegan businesses, and of course, have lots of fun rides for the children, with a once a month adult only ride.  This club is open to all, vegan or not.  No fancy bicycles needed.  We even have a couple of bikes and a child trailer you can borrow if you’d like to ride with us.  Just attend the rides you like, there’s no pressure.

About Us
What We Do

We are already doing some great things for the houseless and the planet!  With help from the Las Vegas Community, Out Spokin’ Las Vegans Bike Club has been honored to travel Las Vegas to serve nutritious plant based food, contribute hygiene supplies, assist with clothing, feed animals in poverty and bestow pet care services such as ear cleaning and nail trimming.  Right now we are meeting the small, yet meaningful goal of helping 100 people per week and many pets.

Our Vision

Our vision is to begin a more conservational “Use Less Plastic” campaign.  We want to provide the houseless with reusable water bottles on carabiners that can be clipped directly to their bags. In doing so, we may serve water from a 5 gallon spouted jug, therefore, able to reduce trash in the street as well as waste from plastic water bottles that inevitably end up in our landfills, pollute our oceans, and kill our animals.  By our #RidetoProvide being mobile, it does not limit our boundaries to one location or time.  We feel this approach will meet the needs of a wider array of people than a stationary, same time and day location.

Our Goal

Our goal is to continue to serve people and pets in need with our #RidetoProvide, while striving to assist clients to transition out of homelessness.   Our goal is to officially launch our weekly #RidetoProvide to Provide in July 2017.  We are already doing a small weekly #RidetoProvide out of pocket, but I feel that obtaining our nonprofit status and launching our conservational "Use Less Plastic" water program will make a big difference in the services we provide and increase the number of people we are able to assist.  This is exactly what we hope to accomplish by hosting our Poker Pedal Bicycle Ride on June 10, 2017.
